Players *1) Age:* Must be 17 or older to join. *2) Mature Content:* This rpg is not limited to pg-13 status. Many things are going to go on that go far beyond that rating. Don’t like it? Don’t read it. But don’t harass others about it. *3) OOC Drama:* For God's sake, TALK to each other, try to sort out your differences via AIM, emails, PMs, OOC Board, whatever... but you must talk to each other. The Mods will mediate, if needed, as we hate to see anyone not happy in game. It should be fun! Let's keep it that way. *4) Leaving:* If you must leave the game (or place your characters on hiatus), please contact the mods, or make a note in the OOC community. *5) FAQ's:* Read them! Characters and Character Portrayal *6) Godmodding:* Do not god mod. Do not write for the other person. Do not say they did something if they did not. All pretty simple. *7) Character Death:* No killing of other peoples characters without consent. As a player, please use common sense. Pissing off a character that is known to have a temper just because you know the character is not allowed to kill you is simply another form of godmodding. With this do not make characters and continually kill them off, deaths have to make sense. *8) Slash:* We allow it, however we ask that you use some common sense, and that your character (and their sexual orientation) be believable. *9) Icons:* Make use of them. It really does enhance the feel of the game. *10) Journals:* First person, emails, aim chat logs, lyrics, letters, whatever you want can go in a characters personal journal. However Narratives and posts that are to be rped out go in the main community halcyon_halls or in the house that your character is in. No rping out of third person threads in personal journals. Posting *11) Frequency:* Post whenever you like, as often as you like, but don't leave people hanging. Keep in mind that if you don't post regularly other characters will move along without you. If a character grows stagnant, we will ask that you begin to play them if you still do not we will send out one last email asking for participation before your character is opt for removal. We do not have a 10 day rule or anything like that but we ask for activity. Typically if your character has not made a new post in some form within a month we will send out an email. *12) Grammar:* Clear and legible writing is a must. No netspeak allowed (Exception: in character messaging). *13) OOC:* Keep all ooc posts in the ooc community tower_of_babble *14) Ratings:* If the post will be heavy in sexual content then place a rating with the post description and friends lock it. *15) Day Advancement:* Mod controlled. Every three to five real life days dependent on game activity. This is subject to change and often we give warning in the OOC before it happens. A post will be made stating the day, weather, and any other important information. *16) Friends Locking:* Please keep all posts in the communities as public. A lot of us are in multiple RPG's and aren’t always logged in to see friends only entries. Character journals, however, can be friends locked; just make sure to keep your friends list updated. *17) Threading:* This is a thread based in-depth RPG. No AIM threading or logs. There are AIM chats between characters, but not threading. We ask for details and depth in replies. See FAQ's for more information.
